The Design Icebreaker is a fun way to start coming up with ideas. We use it any time we start talking about what something will look like.
What do we need?
- Time
- Gathering space
- A way to take and share notes with the group
- A new project
Who do we need?
- Facilitator – The Facilitator helps the group follow the steps in order.
- Recorder – The Recorder takes notes and shares them, as needed.
- Participants – The Participants talk about the worst ways we could design something.
How do we do it?
This statement gives information about when something happens –
- The Facilitator shares the new project.
- The Facilitator asks: “What is the worst way we could design this project?” The Participants talk about their worst ideas.
