Break-Out Rooms are a meeting option through Zoom. We use them when we want to have separate, simultaneous conversations online.

What do we need?

  • Time
  • A Zoom account

Who do we need?

  • Facilitator – The Facilitator creates and ends the Break-Out Rooms.
  • Participants – The Participants join the Break-Out Rooms.

How do we do it?

  1. The Facilitator starts the Zoom meeting.
  2. The Facilitator creates the Break-Out Rooms and invites Participants into the rooms.
  3. Each Participant joins a Break-Out Room.
  4. The Facilitator ends the Break-Out Rooms.
